i think magnesium and carbon work best from a video i saw. in the video he got 2 volts with just 2 small probes in the ground no insulation. i want to do the same thing for 2 volts. except a bunch and wire them in parallel if i can. i want more amps. i think 2 volts is high enough to step up to 5v. i just need more amps. any help from someone will be appreciated. im thinking of putting them in plastic cups with dirt and them wire them in parellel. i just would like to see someone test it before i buy all the supplies.

I always try to look upon any challenge as an opportunity as well, and sometimes, one finds a greater blessing hidden. Planting sunflowers in abundance showed me many other aspects of nature's design that I have now begun to incorporate .. a way to make use of all of the multiple helpers that nature offers, so that each gains their portion from their work, and their work provides opportunity and fulfilment for others. A regenerative system, where humans are a part. Its permaculture . just without the 'humans bad' vibe. We CAN be .. but we can make good choices, too. Learning to see the potential for good in the human may be a skill we have to train up a bit

My parents separated when I was too young to know my father, so my Grandmother, who had been walking in faith for so many years just told me of my Eternal Father .. so by the time I was Seven, I did not believe IN Jesus .. I already believed him, because that was the only Father I had ever known. In all likelihood, there was only one message I ever had to deliver, and it was then .. so that the Sunday school teacher could say "out of the mouths of babes", praise God, and carry on with the lesson, and we could ALL know that God was REAL. Having children grow up with that kind of faith? The restoration could have started 45 years ago, and I could have just been a happy kid in Our Father's Kingdom. I'm stubborn .. and I still want to live in that Kingdom .. even if I have to grow young again to do it .. but as we all know, it is our Father's will in the end that will be done, no matter what we have to say about it .. and that is fine, too .. it is all his anyway. he has surprised me so far, and not disappointed (though I may have disappointed him, and the thought of THAT stings worse than any punishment!) I think I will trust him the whole journey. I know exactly what Billy has been going through .. and Jesus is the only help he needs to get through it.

@@vickisavage8929 That's why I have not been overly concerned about having a large homestead .. I still have loads of things I can do to this tiny spot to improve it .. and the smaller the garden, the lighter the physical load. If anything, I have spent so many years witnessing the promise of sufficiency play out, I could walk into the wilderness anywhere and be OK - but then I would be abandoning my primary mission; I would be OK, but not as joyful - Adam in the garden by himself .. and of course, the Father won't allow that, either. So .. for a while, I have wondered if the gold finches would stay in our area to build nests, or keep moving on .. to Iowa, the Dakotas, up into Canada, following the grain harvests. Had the wonderful opportunity to see an Adult male Finch showing a juvenile how to forage for sunflower seeds .. those are 2nd year landrace black oil sunflower seeds (just bird seed!) but some have passed 12 feet high. No artificial fertilizers. No Pesticides. No Herbicides. Hand Tools Only, and letting nature do most of the work. I notice that although the wheelbugs have not yet emerged, the finches and wrens have been keeping the corn protected from grasshoppers. How does it work? The great commandment is to love the Lord with everything in you. The second commandment is to love your neighbor as you love yourself. This means that we’re to love both ourselves and our neighbors, not sacrifice one for the other. From these two commandments hang all of the Law and the prophets. What has He asked of us but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him? It’s our obedience, not any sacrifice, that He wants - and deserves.

Interesting that Death, as the Grim Reaper, is depicted as a black robed skeleton with a snath and scythe rather than a sickle. Snath is the handle, scythe is the blade. Ruth, and what she brought to the house of David have been in the for front of my mind for some time: Knowledge of the true God of Avram, that had been misplaced between Egypt and Midian on account of Esau's error - making an idol of Yahweh. Avram called the God of all creation "El Shaddai" .. or, in the language of his day simply "God Almighty" - not a thing to pointed at so as to say "Here is our god!" .. and certainly not the god of Self, who had taken up residence (and does, today as well) in the holy places. We forget, in all of the ceremony and ritual, that in the beginning, God required only one thing of man: Our Obedience.

I was putting the rough estimate for three layers at an even dozen .. but if I told folks that right out the gate, they would never believe me(edit) I mean, you have to SEE it .. but once you have, oh boy, you can't unsee it!

Some changes in diet and outlook .. avoiding too much processed grain, refined sugar and so on .. substituting fruits nuts and berries, eggs and fish, and most importantly, learning how to forgive everyone .. even myself. THAT alone made me 200 pounds lighter

I was told that misspelling a word in the title would draw more views .. but I just couldn't bring myself to wreck a perfectly good word .. so I substituted a phoneme .. Of course one can never have TOO many pumpkins .. can they??

If we can turn the movement of insects into power, then we would get rid of waste and power the Universes.

The only one that made it was the one that I put directly into the ground at the end of the season. MAYBE if I had let them come along in a nice indoor setting, I could have nursed the others. Starting earlier would be better, I think .. but yeah .. FANTASTIC!!! .. I hope it doesn't destroy the house when it falls 😜

55 gallons of manure, 20 gallons of urine, one year to produce 2 grams of Potassium crystal 😂😂😂 but you get pounds of fertilizer 🤔 excellent work. Thank you for sharing.

Making purified nitrate this way is really a village pursuit .. lots of input to get a concentrated solution that will crystalize. I hid part of the process so that the overly eager but under disciplined would not succeed, but you could still get the idea of what was being done. Letting the black Earth work its way in as a top dressing delivers nitrogen more slowly than applying a liquid fertilizer, and since the plants only ever use a tiny portion of available nitrogen anyway, it is better to let it be released slowly. I suppose, if I ever needed to build cloud seeding rockets, we could do it in a pinch .. I always loved model rocketry as a kid :)

This "earth battery" is no different than elementary school "potato battery" or "lemon battery". The voltage does NOT come from the earth, lemon, or potato. It voltage comes from the dissimilar metals. You could create higher current by placing multiple battery strings in parallel. Also, multiple rods tied together in a cell will increase the current. However, as the current is extracted from the battery the metals are consummed. Making this method of producing electricity extremely expensive.
